About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Manager – Business Intelligence to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Oversee the preparation of comprehensive reports for senior leadership on SBU performance · Assist the manager in driving adoption of Business Insight Tools like Power BI and JBI by offering adequate support and training
Ensure seamless onboarding of new colleagues by conducting induction on all Business Intelligence Tools
Draft SOPs, Guides and other relevant documentation pertaining to BI Platform and tools to support business users
Assist the manager in performing sophisticated data analysis by interpreting complex datasets from diverse systems to provide actionable recommendations
Oversee data quality and maintain ongoing checks to ensure data consistency across all BI systems and platforms
Lead any other initiatives to support the manager as and when required · Drive a culture of data-driven decision making
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent university studies in hospitality, commercial, technical or scientific discipline
Highly analytical in all respects with an ability to identify, address and solve problems
Deep understanding of F&B Revenue Management concepts in Luxury Hospitality sector ·
Previous experience of working in a role involving use of large data to make business decision within luxury hospitality industry i.e revenue management, data analysis, business intelligence
Previous experience of analysing and effectively summarizing complex data using BI tools and platforms such as Excel, Power BI / Qliksense / Tableau / Microstrategy Desirable
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Knowledge of Data Visualization platforms like Power BI / Qliksense / Tableau / Microstrategy · Excellent command of the English language
Very adept in adapting to current technology and learning to use new applications
