Our client is a Group company head quartered in UAE with 16+ years of market presence looking to hire a senior accountant for Dubai office.

Job Description:

1. Financial Reporting:

– Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance of IFRS.

– Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records with complete ownership of R2R cycle.

2. Audit Coordination:

– Facilitate the external audit process and liaise with auditors.

– Implement recommendations from audit findings.

3. Compliance Management:

– Ensure adherence accounting, tax & statuary regulations.

– Stay updated on changes in accounting & tax standards and statutory regulations.

4. Financial Analysis:

– Conduct financial analysis and recommend strategies for optimization & decision support to reporting manager.

– Monitor budgetary control and provide insights for decision-making.

5. Tax Compliance:

– Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.

– Provide support during tax audits.

6. Management Reporting:

– Generate timely and accurate management reports.

– Assist in providing financial insights to aid strategic decision-making.

7. Financial Systems Management:

– Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software systems.

– Troubleshoot and resolve any system-related issues.

8. Cash Flow Management:

– Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions.

– Implement strategies to optimize working capital.

Qualification: ICMA/CMA/CA/ACCA

Qualities & Skills:

– 2-3 years of relevant experience

– Advance Excel, Data Analysis, Financial Modelling is must.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

– Excellent with project & time management.

– Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

– Agile and innovative approach to perform in fast pace environment.

– Strong with presentation skills, especially complex data set and ad hoc project reporting.

– Understanding of ERP & EPM implementation, the one with such experience is preferred but not mandatory.
