We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Junior Accountant to join our finance team at Sallis / WBV. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, supporting the team’s objectives and contributing to the efficiency of our financial processes.

Responsibilities

Perform daily financial recording, ensuring timely and accurate financial records.
Collaborate effectively with senior accountants and finance team members to achieve team objectives.
Support critical month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Maintain compliance with accounting policies and regulations to safeguard organizational integrity and legal conformity.
Provide support during audit processes by facilitating smooth and effective documentation and information flow.
Reconcile bank statements to verify transaction accuracy and maintain integrity in financial data.
Manage documentation and filing systems for financial records to support operational efficiency and data retrieval.
Proficient in using accounting software platforms like Zoho and QuickBooks for effective financial operations.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.
Strong organizational skills to maintain proper documentation and filing systems.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, within the finance team and during audits.
Collaborative ability to work effectively with senior accountants and support team members during closing processes.
2-4 years of experience in an accounting role with practical knowledge and application of accounting practices.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Based in Dubai, UAE.
