We are looking for a Sales Manager – Maritime Logistics (NVOCC) to join our company.
In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
The Sales Manager – Maritime Logistics (NVOCC) will report to the Ships Agency Territory Manager.
About the position:
To consistently grow the NVOCC Maritime Logistics segment from a revenue and volume perspective.
What will you do:
Manage the sales team, develop a business plan covering sales, revenue and expense controls, meeting agreed targets mainly in line with our Principals requirements.
Obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, skills development and product knowledge development.
Manage sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining process where possible, advising senior management on maximising business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
Ensure that sales representatives activities are in line with Wilhelmsen code of conduct.
Monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, sales meetings, newsletters and bulletins.
Ensure monthly reporting and development of business with strategic partners.
Required Skills:
08 years of experience in Freight & Logistics Sales.
Fluent communication skills
Excellent computer skills for Microsoft office.
Strong knowledge of Internet functionalities
