The hotel boasts 269 tastefully decorated rooms, each thoughtfully designed to reflect the hotels neighbourhood story; the story of Dubai creek.
Your Day to Day
Every day is different, but as Director of Sales and Marketing, youll mostly develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the hotel, create and implement tactical plans and ensure revenue goals are achieved.
You will lead and manage the sales and marketing team. On the daily, you’ll be overseeing their sales efforts and giving them the lowdown on how to be their best selves. You will monitor sales activities/ performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan. Youll produce monthly reports and sales forecasts.
You will also analyze current/ potential market and sales trends and coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share through creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase business volume, food?and beverage and banquet sales.
Youll participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, the hotel marketing plan and business plan, and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the hotel.
Your responsibilities will require direct and routine interaction with IHGs Regional Commercial Team.
What we need from you

The ideal candidate would come with extensive UAE experience in different sales segments with the ability to develop and execute winning commercial strategies.
Ideally, you’ll have a bachelors degree in a sales and marketing or related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years experience within the sales field.
