About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join Housekeeping in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Oversee housekeeping attendants, ensure cleaning standards, manage master keys, equipment maintenance, and handle guest complaints.
- Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, and F&B to ensure room readiness, maintenance scheduling, and special requests are handled efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and customer service standards.
- Supervise staff punctuality, uniform standards, service quality, welfare, and conduct regular performance appraisals.
- Develop and monitor training plans, ensure monthly training hours are met, and promote continuous professional development.
- Maintain accurate departmental records, manage document control, support departmental planning, and follow up on outstanding matters.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- UAE National with a Family Book as per government requirements.
- Minimum 2 years in a junior management housekeeping role at a 5-star hotel; guest-facing department experience is an advantage.
- Diploma in Hotel Operations or Hotel Management.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud) and HotSoS.
