The role is based in Dubai Investment Park (DIP).
Our client is a well-established interior fit out and furnishings retailer and as part of their growth we are hiring an experienced warehouse and logistics team leader to join their Dubai team.
The role is responsible for managing goods inwards and outwards, inventory management, route planning and last mile delivery to deliver goods in a timely manner to all customer sites.
Role Summary
Streamline the overall warehouse operations, processes and procedures for goods inwards and outwards, inventory management, order fulfillment, dispatch and distribution.
Oversee complete warehousing, distribution, inventory and task assignment to the staff.
Achieve maximum space utilization by setting up warehouse layout and enforcing operational policies.
Ensure all deliveries are accurate and dispatched to the retail outlets in a timely manner.
Manage inventory and stock count activities ensuring all inventory discrepancies are accounted for.
Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out in a safe manner at all times.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
2+ years UAE experience as a warehouse and logistics supervisor / team leader.
Experience of furniture and interiors fittings is a strong advantage.
Working knowledge of ERP systems.
UAE driving license is an advantage.
Education & Certification
Diploma education is mandatory
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to work in Dubai Investment Park (DIP).
Good command of English must be able to read, write and speak good English.
Well-presented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
