Trade Finance and Credit Analyst Full Time

My client is a large player in the energy trading sector who are looking for a Trade Finance and Credit Analyst to join them on an initial 3 month contract.

Your new role

The Trade Finance and Credit Analyst will be responsible for handling timely issuance/receipt of trade finance instruments as well as reporting credit risk exposure in line with internal policies.

Your new role will ensure business activities are supported whilst associated trade finance and credit risks are actively monitored and controlled. You will be expected to add value across a number of areas including, credit risk, trade finance, and enhancing related processes.

What you’ll need to succeed

In order to succeed you will need to have:

4+ years of experience in trade finance and/or credit risk functions in a commodity trading business (oil trading preferably, physical and financial); less years’ experience will be acceptable for the right candidate.
Previous experience in handling letter of credit and other trade finance instruments.
Well-developed numerical and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS OFFICE.
