About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Technician (Kitchen) to join the POMEC team in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Identify kitchen equipment issues, bring appropriate tools, diagnose and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct maintenance and servicing of kitchen appliances as per assigned schedules.
• Fill out work orders, scheduled maintenance, and emergency jobs as needed.
• Collect materials from engineering stores, document usage, and ensure proper tool organization.
• Maintain detailed logs of work, report major faults, and seek direction for issues beyond scope.
• Ensure clean, safe, and tidy workspaces, follow safety standards, and notify housekeeping if required.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• One or two years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property; experience in the UAE is desirable.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification and trade qualification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficient in English, able to work independently and adapt to diverse environments.
