Job Description

Participate in the information security monitoring process across all Smart Dubai assets and runs all its related functions such as vulnerability management.
Execute diagnostic and monitoring activities including health checks, gap analysis, code analysis and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediate actions
Engage in the ethical hacking of developed products and solutions (such as firewalls, system encryptions etc.) to identify vulnerabilities in the system / solution environment
Deliver on testing services under supervision for cyber security events that are detected on the Smart Dubai systems in accordance with the defined service level agreements
Perform regression testing to uncover new software bugs after changes such as enhancements, patches or configuration changes, have been made to the system
Assist in the Smart Dubai readiness for confronting and recovering from any information security breaches, vulnerabilities, exploitation attempts through developing the capability of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing and appropriate measures and controls
Conduct research activities over a variety of security products / tools, conducting reverse engineering and malware analysis activities, attacks trends analysis, etc. that help Smart Dubai stay up to date in terms of threats and attacks management and control
Report actual or suspected vulnerabilities/breaches in the confidentiality, integrity or availability of Data and Security breaches to Information Security Office

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or equivalent
Professional certification in IT Testing and Operations such as SANS or GPEN/GWAPT (GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester) or equivalent preferred
2 years of relevant experience in IT Operations and Testing
Experience with a multinational company preferred
Demonstrated skill in the management of IT system operations and testing
Ability to explain technical issues to business individuals
Fluent written and spoken English essential, Arabic preferred
Conveys or exchanges basic information in routine ways to audiences knowledgeable about the subject matter
