What you will be doing Key Responsibilities:
Achieve the set service sales for the area assigned.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate value propositions and ethical sales methods in line with company policy and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
Plan and prioritize sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including sales revenue. Responsible for cold calls, prospecting, estimating, pricing, and creating quotations, pre-bid qualifications, pre-bid contracts, RFIs, contract scope issues, order processing, shop drawings, change orders and relationship selling and the development of a geographic sales area.
Establishing relationships with end users, facility management companies, new customers from various industrial segments, and retain existing customer base.
Use customer and prospective contact activity tools and systems and update relevant information held in these systems.
Individually plan, carry-out and achieve service sales through annual maintenance contracts, repair orders through modernization and refurbishments, replacements of old equipment with new and maintained key accounts in the areas assigned.
Attending training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of equipment. Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will be proactive and self-driven. This position demands a results-oriented approach coupled with high-energy, reliability and personal discipline. Minimum of 2-3 years strong outdoor sales experience and ability to sell total solutions/retrofits. Must possess the ability to present as a professional with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Experience in service/construction/capital equipment and service industry highly advantageous Strong presentation, time management skills and knowledge of MS Office essential Hunter style salesperson who has successfully delivered on sales/accounts/growth target. Competitor knowledge/experience an advantage. Organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and an intense desire to work in the door business. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about selling a full range of automatic entrance products namely automatic sliding doors, automatic swing doors, revolving doors, hermetic doors, service contracts, modernization kits and full solutions as retrofit jobs. You are detail-oriented, organized and known for follow-up habits. Youre a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator. You can work independently but believe in teamwork. Your background includes a university degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: engineering, physics, construction science/management, or similar). Industry-related experience would be highly considered. You can read and understand technical drawings/specifications/facility standards and technical aptitude in building construction, home automation, access controls, electro mechanical and IT networking. Also, ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or in-the-field at a construction site or building facility.
