Job Description
Undertakes discrete tasks on a large/major projectAble to form effective relationships with clients and gain their confidence.Able to act as a mentor/leader for more junior staffUndertakes duties as assigned by the Senior Stakeholder Manager and Stakeholder Management Unit LeaderResponsible for developing Stakeholder relationships, fostering community relationships and supporting senior management representing AECOM.Understands AECOM competitive advantages in order to find innovative and strategic ways for the company to create new business opportunities through the ongoing interaction with the stakeholdersEstablishes the stakeholder(s) management strategy and register, and updates as required and monitors implementationManages stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue and other forms of engagement to understand key common interestPrepares high-level program progress presentations/dashboards to the stakeholder management to assure continuous engagement whenever neededRepresents the Client /AECOMs interests by providing full support and guidance on all matters related to permitting & approvals for projectsIn-depth knowledge of planning processes required to coordinate with the Authorities and government entities for clarifications, justifications and permitting by statutory authoritiesEngages with the stakeholders to identify and analyze issues and communicate information to appropriate stakeholdersManages supports and facilitates design managers & directors with the overall permitting process to mitigate risks & project delays.Ensures managers deliver required documents on schedule and in accordance with Authorities requirements, guidelines & standard specificationSupervises and manages all document completion processes to be submitted as required by the local authorities on behalf of AECOM.Proactively monitors projects program-wide so that any potential planning delays are identified early and a planned course of action is taken to mitigate delaysNotifies the client of any potential risks
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Under general direction, applies advanced skills to the position. Resolves problems using advanced techniques and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and complete assigned tasks. Maintains and organizes engineering documentation on an enterprise content management system which includes identification and generation of reports. May be responsible for leading a departmental process as assigned by management. May orient, train, assign, and check the work of lower level employees.
