Mediclinic Middle East operates seven hospitals, including the newly-opened Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, and 20 clinics with over 900 inpatient beds in the United Arab Emirates.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Play a leading role in managing the integration of solutions with internal/external systems, modalities, medical devices, data archival and retrieval solutions using custom or industry standard data exchange protocols
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Act as the integration lead for interfacing applications, modalities, medical devices, and analysers with clinical applications according to company and industry best practice
Proactively monitor, troubleshoot and resolve data exchange issues between applications and modalities or medical equipment
Lead discussions with functional and clinical teams to identify business requirements and accordingly customise defined workflows to improve efficiency
Liaise with modality and medical device solution vendors on new integration and upgrade requirements
Required Education
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent IT field from an accredited institution
Masters Degree in Information Technology will be an advantage
Required Experience
At least 5 years experience working on Intersystems product suite like Cache databases, Intersystems IRIS data platform, Intersystems ensemble integration platform
Experience working with SOAP, REST and FHIR based APIs
At least 8 years experience utilising Microsoft .NET framework to create software solutions that meet clients’ requirements
Experience developing powerful and scalable cloud hosted web apps using MS Visual Studio, .Net Core and SQL Azure
Experience developing reports using SQL reporting services, Dev express tools and data visualization using Tableau
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
Clinical processes and associated workflows relevant to healthcare
Knowledge in data flow design, systems design, network troubleshooting, sizing estimation and configuration of servers/workstations
Basic working knowledge around networking (VPN, SSL)
Knowledge of HL7 standards,FHIR, REST,SOAP, DICOM, PACS, RIS, LIS and integration frameworks to build interfaces between applications and modalities/devices
SQL Server database design and development concepts, writing backend logic using stored procedures
Sound knowledge of C#.NET, ASP.NET,WPF, MVC, WCF and client-side web development
