Job Overview:

The Sr. HSES Tech will work in conjunction with HSE Advisors/Supervisors in applying effective HSE plans to project construction and assist in execution of the plan.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Seek guidance from HSE Advisor/Supervisor as appropriate for tasks and decisions.
Implement HSES Activity plan and ensure activities are completed as scheduled.
Assist in preparation of HSES Statistics Reports.
Conduct HSES inspections as directed.
Assist in preparation and maintenance of HSES publicity and information.
Regularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts or conditions.
Assist with incident investigations and compilation of reports.
Update and maintain HSES database/platform.
Assist with medical evacuations and respond to emergencies as required.
Observe work groups and provide guidance and coaching to personnel to perform work safely.
Assist in delivery and observation of tool box talks and JSA’s.
Observe condition of plant and equipment and report deficiencies.
Work in conjunction with HSE Advisors/Supervisors in applying effective HSE plans to project construction and assist in execution of the plan.
Maintain close relationship with designated project line supervision.
Assist in maintenance and implementation of the HSES Management System.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Ability to work as a team member.
Have experience with technical activities, including on and offshore operations.
Maintain key competencies associated with the HSES function
Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
Be conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, regulations and norms.
