Role and Responsibilities
This role is a key position in the Global Freight & Logistics Transformation and Business Performance vertical, responsible for three business-critical programs of the Freight & Logistics program i.e. Presales to Customer Onboarding Cycle, Aramex Optimization Services, and Performance Management & MIS globally
The role focuses on Pre Sales activities like Designing Integrated solutions for Freight & Logistics operational capabilities across the regions
New Customer Onboarding Framework based on the operational capabilities of the New Strategic customers with a global footprint
The role will design, establish & monitor the KPIs and manage the performance of Freight and Logistics globally
The role will have an additional responsibility to drive client-facing projects as part of the Aramex Optimization Services
Job Description:
Hands-on approach in driving Transformation Projects which are spread across functions and geographies to achieve the business objectives
Hands-on experience in Pre Sales, Customer Facing Assignments, and customer management lifecycle for the Freight & Logistics Industry
Hands-on experience in managing Business Performance via KPI design, periodic evaluation, and budget management
To deliver tangible and sustainable topline growth and/or bottom-line savings on Freight & Logistics initiatives
Ensure performance management in a Maker & Checker Model linked to the Global Aramex Strategy
Report the performance business review to the C-suite for Freight & Logistics across Aramex stations
Manage and monitor project or program schedules and progress to ensure expected results are delivered on time and to budget. Maintain, adjust and communicate updates to project plans as needed to the customers and internal stakeholders
Performance Management & MIS globally
Establish and Manage the Global KPI of Freight and Logistics ensuring that the results and objectives are met
Hold an independent view of business performance and support global plans for continuous improvement.
Create and manage the Annual Operating Plan framework for the stations linked to the global Freight & Logistics Objectives
Through the application of Data Analysis of data and projects of varying size and scope, identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs and maximize asset utilization.
Support the evaluation of emerging digital improvement tools and systems and benchmark the best practices
Presales to Customer Onboarding Cycle
Custodian and responsible for Pre-Sales, and solution design activities for Strategic customers. Gathering Market intelligence to ensure the competitiveness of the solutions
Custodian to new Customer onboarding cycle
Implementation project manager for changes to assigned customer solution
Create 3-year value progression initiatives for assigned customers and drive their realization.
To complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects, initiatives to enhance the NPS
Aramex Supply Chain Optimization Services
To deliver client-facing projects and dedicate man-day effort to the Aramex Optimization Services
Hands-on approach and best practice experience in supply chain & logistics domain globally
Bring innovative technology frameworks and best practices from the competition for the scope of the project
Communicate the project plan with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Industry Experience:
Supply chain management expertise in Global Freight Forwarding or Supply chain Management
Sales & Operational Planning in a global team with Demand & Forecast management experience
Business Transformation experience in the supply chain industry
Pre Sales & Consulting experience in the Supply Chain domain (internal or external)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelors degree is a must, preferably a Masters degree
3-7 years with a successful track record in Business Transformation projects, S&OP, Pre Sales, Consulting, Data Analytics & Reporting
Desired Skills:
Client-facing project experience (internal consulting or external consulting)
Demonstrated skills in driving operational efficiency and cost-optimization projects
Experience in data analysis and statistical churnings such as Power BI and Tableau
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be open to travel 50% – 70% of the time as per project needs in other regions
Experience in preparing and presenting recommendations to an audience of senior executives
Experience in Project Management
Excellent soft and communication skills
Excellent in presenting and presentation design
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
