Job Purpose

M365 Engineer will be responsible for performing tasks and providing M365 administration in a very fast paced, challenging production environment.

He/she will be responsible for the administration of M365

Work closely with the Operations and Development teams to ensure organizational objectives are met.

Adhere to SLAs and complete assigned tasks on timely manner.

Secure and align components according to company policy.

Achieve maximum uptime of the managed components and environment

Key accountabilities & Tasks

Experience with Microsoft 365 eco system

Operate and maintain Microsoft 365 Platform Services across all organizational levels.

Troubleshoot functional and system performance issues

Perform initial evidence gathering and analysis of system outages

Troubleshoot implementations and supporting Microsoft 365 Groups.

Analyze, and deliver operations solutions on the Microsoft 365 platform components.

Operations and engineering of Microsoft 365 Groups, Teams

Analyze, operate and deliver OneDrive for Business solutions

Analyze, operate and deliver Exchange Online solutions

Analyze, operate and deliver SharePoint Online solutions to include content migrations.

Work to become a Subject Matter Expert on Microsoft 365 capabilities and dependencies.

Willingness to participate in after-hours (evenings and weekends) planned maintenance operations and troubleshooting of critical issues

Job Context & Complexity

Skillset to configure and maintain multiple opensource tools.

Availability on 24×7 basis, as and when required.

Projects to be delivered in tight schedules.

Ability to handle work pressure without compromising on quality of work

Boundaries & decision-making authority:

Provide technical recommendations on components related to M365 components.

Configuration and management of M365 related services.

People in this role may handle several projects simultaneously, performing tasks of engineers and providing guidance for teams.
