What You’ll Do
BCG Middle East Business Development Team is seeking a strong candidate to fill the role of a Senior Business Development Analyst to support Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Practice Area (TMT PA) that is currently being built up. As a member of this team, you will contribute directly to the success of the business through a variety of roles and responsibilities, mainly across Client Development & Engagement and Practice Area Support.
On the Client Development, you will help protecting and growing business with our key clients by supporting client teams with account planning, management and administration, maintaining client information and knowledge, measuring value on the account and monitoring account performance.
On the Client Engagement you will support Practice Area leadership to create impactful and measurable engagement with key clients by closely working with marketing, tailoring and curating content for key clients and key stakeholders, supporting organization of client events and roundtables, and measuring the engagement impact.
On Practice Area Support you will build and strengthen Practice Area repository infrastructure and institutional internal processes, manage and analyze the Practice Area pipeline, cultivate close relationships with Global Practice Area teams and support the strategic internal initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Client account planning: constructing a comprehensive client account plan in partnership with the account team including client profile and priorities, relationships maps, competition analysis, pipeline, opportunities landscape, account marketing plan, actions plan, etc.; facilitating and orchestrating client planning workshops
Client account management and administration: driving account discipline: organize regular account calls, prepare agenda, facilitate the updates on the planned actions, maintaining baseline client information (proposal tracking, pipeline review, client news, etc.), tracking broader industry trends and changes in collaboration with KT & Marketing to help the account leadership understand the broader market landscape and white space opportunities
Creating and measuring value on the account: examples can include creating year-end client & internal newsletter, account website, SharePoint site; coordinating / gathering/ analyzing client feedback and compiling the insights; monitoring the client development progress against account plans through the regular engagement with account teams, updating the records
Drive account-based engagement for key target accounts: in close collaboration with Marketing team and global Account Based Engagement team developing account marketing plan alongside the client account plan and ensuring the execution.
Support organization of the client workshops and roundtables: working closely with Marketing team, advising on the right content for the event, invitees, stakeholders, and topics, supporting with organization
Tailor and curate content: identifying and locating relevant content in collaboration with marketing, supporting with content localization and tailoring as per the client specifics and for the key client stakeholders, overlooking the distribution of mailings
PA Knowledge & IP management and maintenance: building Practice Area repository which will include proposals material, credentials, CVs and vignettes; creating and managing databases
Pipeline management: overlooking, analyzing and reporting the Practice Area pipeline, producing win / loss analysis, competition analysis, responding to the ad-hoc analysis and reports requests and working closely with internal finance function
Strategic PA initiatives support: supporting with new or ongoing initiatives that would directly relate to the Practice Area strategic priorities, i.e. Practice Area transformation, new market or client acquisition, global Practice Area engagement and events, etc. (the concrete tasks will be assigned by PA leadership)

You Bring (experience & Qualifications)
A minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferably in professional firm services, consulting, or strategy house
Experience with Client Development and Account Management or consulting background is strongly preferrable
Strong verbal communication skills; fluency in English
Strong comprehensive analysis capability, and the ability to use data-based systems and report running
Advanced level computer skills; Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment
Resourcefulness, high attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, being able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level executives
YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be supporting the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Practice Area and working closely with the Practice Area leadership and Client Coordinating Officers. You will be regularly interacting with the account teams and cross functional teams, such as Marketing, Knowledge Team, Finance team, EMESA BD team, Account Based Engagement global team, as well as relevant stakeholders from the Global Practice Area. You will be the member of Business Development Team and you will report directly to Business Development Manager.
