Job Purpose
As a senior architect, you will execute procedures that contribute and develop ideas and technical solutions to improve the project workflow process by exhibiting mastery and knowledge of fundamentals throughout the entire project lifecycle. They will be expected to support the project team using a wide range of technical skills. Coordinates work across multiple disciplines to achieve highest quality across all phases of multiple projects. As well as demonstrating that he or she fully understands the project scope, he or she must be able to analyze, evaluate, and manage smaller to mid-sized projects with minimal assistance.
Key Functions And Responsibilities
Coordinate and lead the assigned team of project Architects, Architects and Technicians on a daily basis and ensure that design excellence is achieved throughout.
Develop a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and the development of a project.
Monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
Liaising with the Design Manager to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met.
Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team.
Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractors queries, etc.
Receive and participate in the QAQC process.
Ensure the satisfactory management and control of inward and outward documentation
Design research and coordination
Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design and technical skills and improve their industry knowledge.
Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets within time and budget.
Other Tasks And Responsibilities
Mentoring, supervision, and management of Project architects, Architects and Technician staff.
Contribute to an organizational culture that champions innovation through creative ambition and collaborative development of ideas
Networking and consulting with industry professionals.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelor of Architecture
Experience: 10 + years
Technical Skills: TBC
Computer Literacy (Required to perform the role)
Revit, Navisworks, Dinamo, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe in Design, Sketch up
Competencies And Behavioral Skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Arabic an advantage)
