Position: Sales/Sales Manager (HORECA)
Location: Dubai
Summary
We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Head of Sales/Sales Manager (HORECA) to lead and manage our client’s sales team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving the company’s sales targets, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the team meets its objectives. The client is dealing in F&B equipment, items, and ingredients for 4/5-star hotels. The person will also play a crucial role in identifying market opportunities, optimizing distribution channels, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy
Develop and implement effective strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Forecast sales projections for all SKUs and initiate a forward forecasting process.
Identify potential territories within the market and explore business expansion opportunities.
Distribution And Channel Management
Identify and define various business channels to maximize sales reach.
Evaluate and optimize the performance of existing distribution channels and territories.
Implement controls and processes to streamline sales operations.
Product Management
Identify slow-moving and short-expiry products and take appropriate actions to clear inventory.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing, providing timely feedback to Category/Brand Specialists.
Collaboration And Communication
Collaborate with the Marketing department, providing feedback and insights to enhance marketing strategies.
Work closely with the Commercial department on pricing, contracts, and market-related insights.
Customer Relationship Management
Implement and oversee CRM management practices within the sales team to maintain strong customer relationships.
Conduct key client meetings regularly to strengthen business partnerships.
Industry Awareness
Develop and maintain an excellent network of industry connections.
Stay informed about ongoing events and developments in the industry to identify potential business opportunities.
Reporting And Analysis
Generate and analyze monthly and quarterly sales reports.
Track and maintain records of inquiries status, quotes conversion, and competitor pricing.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years.
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in the UAE market.
Excellent understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and business channels.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance metrics.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Highly analytical with the ability to identify market trends and capitalize on opportunities.
