Retail Cashier Full Time

We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Retail Cashier to handle cash transactions, assist customers, and ensure smooth checkout operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills and experience in handling cash registers, POS systems, and sales transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a friendly checkout experience.
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately.
• Scan and bag items while ensuring proper pricing and discounts.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy.
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
• Assist customers with inquiries, promotions, and product details.
• Count and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious transactions to management.
• Assist in stock management and shelf organization when needed.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of cashier or retail experience (UAE experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and digital payments.
• Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and transactions.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
