About the role:
Were looking for an entry-level professional with around 1-2 years of experience for a role in our Consumer Insights and Strategy team. The candidate will work with a team of researchers to analyse, and interpret data related to a brief at hand. This dataset is sourced from Social platforms and the web by a team of data scientists. The main task will be to create reports based on the findings from this data.
These reports will be used with new and potential clients, as well as with current clients to showcase Sila capabilities in market research and social understanding.
The successful candidate will be able to read and analyse qualitative and quantitative data and trends from social listening and beyond, with the ability to interpret them, and draft a report to be submitted to the Research Director.
Objectives of this Role
Specifically, the role will encompass the following key deliverables:
Understanding business objectives being able to support the analysis based on the aims and objectives.
Developing reports, interpreting data, summarising findings and making initial recommendations for further investigation.
Identifying and remaining fully informed on market trends.
Communicating regularly with the team to ensure that they are aware of project status and any potential issues that may arise.
Attending meetings with the Research Director, taking notes and archiving the notes to be accessible to the rest of the team when needed.
Completing the assigned tasks according to the set schedule and arising possible issues ahead of time in order to make sure they dont have a negative impact on the work and the final delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing, business
A user of social listening platform/s, either at the agency or client side
1-2 years of experience, with a focus on analysing data and writing social listening reports
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with the internal teams and clients when required
Understanding of how to read and interpret data
Strong critical thinking to analyse information and make initial decisions and suggestion
Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and propose solutions to problems that arise during the research process
Adept in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint with good presentation skills
Market Research knowledge and interest in this career
Basic SQL knowledge will be an added advantage
