Overview
The Regional Director, MEAI will be responsible for developing and leading business strategy and execution in the region including Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, Engineering and Technical Services, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure growth and profit goals are achieved and customer expectations are met or exceeded. This leader will benefit from an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion to win. This leader will establish and develop a team that collectively partners to drive results and implement the strategic plan for the region.
This leader will be responsible for developing increasingly strategic relationships with key customers, and suppliers in the region gaining market share and creating growth within the region. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style that is metrics focused and goal driven. S/he will collaborate, engage, and communicate effectively with leadership and team members and travel to the US headquarters as needed for meetings
Responsibilities
Develop a talented regional team that is goal-oriented and customer focused
Develop and execute a strategy to win significantly increased market share and develop new opportunities with key customers in the region globally
Understand competitive landscape and competitor strategy and develop and implement plan to defend and improve competitive advantage
Own the regions P&L and cash flow including annual budget and periodic forecasts
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit targets
Create and deliver strategic sales goals by developing new and existing customers and product and service offerings within the region
Identify existing areas of operational efficiencies to drive higher sales, profits, and customer satisfaction
Drive deployment of operating rhythm and process to deliver market leading customer satisfaction and performance
Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships
Responsible for on-boarding new regional resources; coaching and developing leadership
Develop standards for effective organizational performance at all levels
Provide leadership for employee performance and relations through effective communications, accountability, training, and development

Identify, communicate, and drive implementation of investments and resource planning
Participate, collaborate, and communicate effectively with leadership and headquarter team to ensure overall alignment with strategy, sales, and growth objectives
Identify industry and business forums, associations, and platforms to represent the company and increase Rhinestahls brand and presence within the region
Collaborate with other regional teams within Rhinestahl to assist and share best practices, ideas, solutions to problems, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / MBA preferred
Minimum of 15 years of hands-on sales and general management experience in aviation or MRO industry
Proven track record in setting and achieving financial and operational objectives in a growth environment
Excellent problem-solving and business analysis skills
Extensive executive/high level negotiation and business transaction skills
Understanding of financial concepts to run the business and be responsible for its P&L statement
Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated excellence with customer relationships, follow-up and attention-to-detail
Ability to coach and provide feedback to the team to achieve operational, financial and sales targets
Passionate, highly strategic, action and results-oriented leader
Team-minded and capable of building engagement and buy-in and leading both their group and cross-functional teams with a focused vision
Innovation skillset, capable of finding creative ways to implement time proven systems with a desire to explore, develop and test new methods
Takes great personal ownership of their business and aggressively drives for strong results
Lead the teams to new and stretch objectives
Be open and willing to regularly traveling to customer, supplier, and other partner sites
