We are looking for a highly motivated and well experienced professional to join our team as Regional Channel Manager Middle East and Africa (MEA). You will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be primarily responsible to improve ABBs market penetration and realize our growth aspiration by enhancing and maintaining a highly effective sales channel strategy in the specified market. Your activities will include the prepara-tion and execution of the business plans and the proactive management of the assigned channel per-formance, ensuring development and implementation of corrective actions to secure business growth when and where needed.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build relationships with Channel Partners as well as our local sales organizations through excellent customer focus.

Regional Sales Manager – MEA
Developing and implementing the regional channel sales strategy and ensuring regular follow-ups, providing channel strategy input to the local sales teams harmonizing the market sales and marketing plans
Defining and achieving key targets (e.g., volume, prices, industry & product mix) for the channel in the specified market, ensuring detailed business plans with regular follow up are in place
Supporting local channel specialist along the process from identifying over evaluating to authorizing channel partners as per agreed ABB policies
Ensuring training for channel and ABB personnel in aspects of marketing analysis, market segmentation, promotion and pricing, demand creation techniques, channel models and cost structures, effective channel program development and channel metrics.
Establishing functionality for regularly reporting progress against channel strategy, plans and budgets, implementing annual performance assessment and forecasting process for channel partners, identify-ing, and managing risk (legal, integrity, financial, trade compliance)
Supporting in driving strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, custom-ers and other decision makers
Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed and develop indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Bachelors degree – Business or Engineering
Requires 7-10 years of experience relevant field.
Measurement & Analytics background an advantage.
Very pronounced business acumen
Fluency in English is mandatory, and Arabic is a plus
