Grow and develop the Spreadable Cheese category
This is a unique opportunity to make an impact in the development of one of Arla Foods MENAs most important categories in an exciting role where you will be required to use your marketing toolbox to find effective ways to drive penetration of the Category, deliver the growth ambition in developing markets, and lead the innovation pipeline for Spreadable Cheese. The position is based in our Dubai regional office and reports to the Head of Spreadable Cheese category, MENA.
As the Regional Category Manager for Spreadable Cheese, you will be responsible for
Developing growth strategies for the markets and lead the development and implementation in accordance with local market needs
Driving MENA Spreadable Cheese innovation agenda, leading the development of NPDs and ensuring effective delivery of launches in market
Combine market, shopper and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and execute these through outstanding category leadership initiatives.
Actively driving and delivering annual business plans together with Regional / local CCSM colleagues
Working closely with Regional CCSM to coach in-markets team to deliver best category practice through sharing with others and driving improvements throughout the team
Commercial marketeer with leadership background
You have a degree in Business Administration and Marketing or equivalent. You have solid FMCG experience and have worked with category management and development for minimum 4-5 years. You must have a global mindset enabling you to build strong, positive relations to partners across geographical and cultural boundaries. Relying on strong project management skills, you can lead, drive and create clear direction to motivate others to follow and create results. Having a an eye for details, analytical skills, creative thinking and solid commercial understanding are essential to the role. Moreover, you know how to navigate safely in a matrix organisation, and your English proficiency leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. If you can get by in Arabic, it will be an advantage.
