The Project Service Manager will be the first point of contact for all contractors, Suppliers, Sales, LCS functional team to oversee and coordinate the LCS service organization activities in Qatar. Also the project service engineer will have responsibility for LCS sales in future.
The candidate will be Responsible for interfacing with Qatar Gas, Contractors, suppliers, intercompany factories, PMOs, ASP, LCS Org and Sales in areas such as coordination, order processing, material planning, resource planning, delivery schedule/status update of in house and field services.
Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Oversee all regional interaction with Qatar end users, Contractors, MEA Customer service team, impact partners & sales teams to ensure service requirements are met to the highest standards with a particular focus on continuous improvement.
Coordinate with Qatar LCS Team, Sales Team, Emerson PMs, Logistics team, Dopet Service & Depot team, QG & Contractors Projects Team for scheduling and availability of resources.
Create and maintain daily schedules for Depot and field services
Communicates regional forecasted demand requirements and escalates in advance.
Ensuring a robust demand management process is in place and maintained to achieve 100% customer service level simultaneously driving to meet Emersons operational/financial goals.
Ensure unique reference numbers are maintained and tracked throughout quote to cash process
Provide information on the status of orders / progress to Customers / LBP for Depot and field services.
Collaborates with supervisors and Engineers to receive schedules in a timely manner and avoid scheduling issues.
Engages with vendors to ensure supply needs are met and maintained for spare parts, equipment consumables and resources.
Document and report key information to supplier performance.
Interface, communicate and incite expedited delivery with WA HQ Customer service team for FCTL products in various world areas (EU, NA & AP)
Perform regular monitoring and follow up of Critical orders (example: order for shut down)
Access JDE/JDI system for orders details and update the factory acknowledged ship dates and/or reschedule dates.
Assist Logistics coordinators with the preparation of necessary shipping documents as and when required
Ensure services rendered final job packs and invoiced and final copy filed.
Follow up time sheets and supporting docs of service engineer and time sheets for completed jobs to allow timely invoicing
Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
Create and maintain a directory of service providers and resources
Coordinate with regional HQ for any required documents requested by customers related to gate passes / Site access.
Preparation of documents for customer Site IDs
Planning and coordination of customer visit for STOs and inspections
Coordination with Sales teams and local business partner to collect and review all forecasted tasks
Run and maintain demand planning and project plans and update on daily basis
Run and maintain cadence calls with local business partner and MEA Customer Service team for all current job status.
Adherence to STO processes throughout all steps implementing and maintaining check lists for all tasks
Issue Job packs to Supervisors and engineers
Collect required parts / materials / tools prior to completion of STO Projects and Maintenance work, Audit Content of Work Scope, Finalize Resource/Equipment Plan, Safety & PPE Checklists, Complete Communications Strategy.
Monthly reporting of Metrics and KPI
Maintain compliance and procedures as per Emerson policies and procedures
General responsibility of service sales is to lead the development and execution of strategies resulting in profitable growth through increased penetration on LCS business of Final Controls group. Service sales will be the guardian of customer relationship, orchestrating the development of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive service solutions to the customer base. This role leads the B2B Alignment of the Customer Management Team, Shutdown planning and service activities along with Emerson Final Control accounts team to position Final Controls Services as Trusted Advisor.
Act as focal point for QG NFE Project for all site services/commissioning activity.
Proactively support QG NFE Project to retain the technical integrity and maintain the reliability and optimal operation of the installed assets.
Support QG NFE Project in applying technology to yield expected operational gains and profitability.
Support QG NFE Project to identify potential opportunities for improving performance of field devices.
Support/Coordinate to resolve issues that arise during Commissioning.
Work Closely with Regional Service Manager to Ensure delivery and execution of high standard of lifecycle services.
Actively participate in Maintenance and Commissioning scheduled meetings to provide inputs, support, advice, and knowledge.
Based on Customer request, work with QG NFE maintenance team to review and improve Instrumentation performance that will enhance unit reliability, product quality, safety and profitability
Track all QG NFE project issues using mutually agreed tracking tool and drive speedy resolution.
Issue regular review reports to provide an overview of all activities carried out by CONTRACTOR
Compile and report all Health, Safety, Security, Environment data per QG NFE reporting guidelines.
Participate actively in QG NFE Project HSSE forums for contractors and ensure alignment of CONTRACTOR site services team with EPC and QG HSSE Policy and Practices
What do I need to be considered for this role?
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience in managing O&G project installation & commissioning activities for field instruments
Demonstrates ability to use Microsoft Office Suite..
Minimum 5 years of final control element experience
Minimum 5 years in LCS with STOs, installation and commissioning experience
Administration and organizational skills
IT skills
CRM awareness
Ability to multi-task
Strong administrative organization skills
Client and service minded
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
