KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate to be working in client office for the project from the start of the contract to the end of contract.
Issue regular reports to clients with project progress (design, procurement, construction, risks, and master program).
Maintain updated master procurement tracker.
Project Setup Phase
Obtain as built drawings and landlord guidelines.
Hold landlord kick-off meeting.
Issue project delivery strategy including procurement routes for review and approvals.
Confirm client project budget.
Tendering and appointment of design consultants (MEP, Acoustic, lighting, kitchen and other as required for the project).
Design Phase
During the design development stage attend weekly coordination meetings with client and designers.
During the design development stage attend meetings as required to ensure design is developed in a timely manner.
Overall design management between various consultants
Carry out site visits as required during design stage.
Management of landlord design submissions for approvals.
Resolve clashes between design disciplines in case arises.
Procurement Phase
Procurement of main contractor, lighting contractor, FF&E and kitchen contractor, other packages to be included under the main contractor.
Issue recommendation report with the tender findings for each procurement package.
Orders to be issued directly by the client to the contractors / suppliers with support from project manager.
Align procurement package with the program.
Follow up on delivery.
Construction Phase
Hold weekly contractors and designers meetings.
Issue meeting minutes for weekly contractor meetings.
Carry out regular site visits during construction stage.
Provide as part of the client regular reporting construction status update and its relationship with the master program and milestones.
Issue delay notices if applicable.
Coordination with the landlord.
Resolve clashes and issues in coordination with client, designers, and contractors.
Management of samples / shop drawings approvals.
Close out Phase
Assist the quantity surveyor in reviewing final accounts.
Collate handover documents from the various contractors and issue them to client operations teams.
Management of client / designer snagging and de-snagging
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
10+ years experience in architecture/Interior design
Good experience in project management for Retail and F&B
Able to use AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Design, Microsoft suite of products
EDUCATION & TRAINING
BA in Architecture or Interior design
Background in retail and F&B
Vertical: Engineering
