Via Medica International Healthcare LLC, Dubai, UAE is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our International Team in Dubai.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field
Minimum of 6 years experience in medical procurement
Must have proven experience in sourcing products internationally from various countries
Familiar with RFQ/Tender Process

Responsibilities:

Assists in the development of commodity level sourcing strategies intended to maximize overall value and cost reduction.
Participates in various procurement projects within the company.
Leads in negotiating and managing supplier relationships.
Engages in the development of client relationships and monitors supplier performance metrics.
Works closely with other procurement personnel to achieve targets and requirements.
Drives and participates in process improvement.
Ensures integrity of department practices through upholding of Business Code of Ethics.
Continuously builds supplier network and database.
Completes verification checks prior to engaging a supplier.
Completes supplier pre-qualification documentation and obtain due diligence documentations.
Ensures that non-disclosure agreements, supplier agreement are completed and signed.
Reviews supplier performance after each RFQ/Tender and delivery for potential remediation actions or possible termination of agreement due to poor response or inadequate service delivery.
Reviews FC/Tender document to understand the delivery requirements including delivery location, incoterms and other factors that might impact on the delivery of the project.
Completes Bid and No Bid document, raises any clarifications.
Creates project timesheet for the relevant RFQ/ Tenders to ensure delivery on time.
Obtains costing, relevant compliance and technical information required from Supplier/Partners.
Prepares documents for submission and review of the Supply Chain Director.
Ensures that documentation on FO/Tender and any supporting documents are placed in central repository audit and review purposes.
Prepares submits weekly sourcing and procurement dashboard on: current suppliers, new suppliers, vetting, status, compliance status
