Process Design Engineer- Water Treatment – On site Full Time

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS :

Must have a total of 8+ years of experience in the Water Treatment and Wastewater treatment industry.
Experience in handling large oil & gas projects
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects in industrial water & wastewater globally.
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects, including providing technical input, technical review, and managing day-to-day tasks.
Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to identify and deliver innovative project outcomes.
Undertake process design, and engineering, which includes developing Plant level overall water balance, alternate treatment options considering available raw water quality and required quality for different industrial uses, selection of scheme, evaluating alternatives, and performing preliminary/detailed design.
Developing BFD, PFD, MSD, DPDT
Develop and check Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), from preliminary drawings to issue for construction
Develop and check Line Designation Tables (line lists with the process and mechanical design conditions captured)
Perform and check hydraulic calculations – for pumps, control valves, and line sizing
Performing detailed process design calculations such as equipment sizing, mass balance, and equipment selection
Completing process documentation such as datasheets, functional descriptions, equipment lists, and manuals
Participate in safety audits & Hazard Studies, as well as review compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
Work actively with other team members to ensure overall project schedules and budgets are met
