Job Overview:

Global Support of McDermott’s ITSM & HR Service Desk Platform (ServiceNow).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise Service Management solutions using ServiceNow. Accountable for technical solutions proposed/implemented and all changes pushed to the production environment
ServiceNow configuration and customization including but not limited to: form tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, REST/SOA integrations, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations
Client side & Server side scripting within ServiceNow, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, XML, Web services and Angular JS
Configure Asset and Configuration modules, while utilizing Discovery module to identify assets and CI’s on the network
Work with various IT teams to identify ServiceNow automation and integration opportunities to improve the existing state of IT operations
Lead administration of ServiceNow instances (environment sync, upgrades, quarterly patches etc.)
Manage functional day-to-day operations of the ServiceNow platform, serve as the subject matter expert and point of contact for all queries related to ServiceNow
Develop and distribute industry standard ITSM reports and dashboards to managers and leadership for defined KPIs
Follow established best practices for customization, configuration, and other ServiceNow functionality to document and communicate application requirements

Essential Qualifications and Education:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and/or Computer Science
7+ years of ServiceNow (ITSM) Development & Implementation experience
Stay current with capabilities of ServiceNow platform and be proactive about knowledge sharing
Ability to think big, and challenge conventional wisdom regarding the ServiceNow platform
Ability to adapt quickly to learn new tool’s, new technologies, and current industry standards
Experience working on agile project teams (Scrum or Kanban methods), using JIRA, Azure Devops or other developer collaborating tools
Ability to facilitate planning meetings, workshops, reviews and retrospectives
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins & HP ALM
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer / Certified Implementation Specialist
Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules – Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management & Asset management
Highly proficient in ServiceNow integration solutions including: ServiceNow API’s, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, SOAP & REST
Experienced in BMC Discovery integration with ServiceNow CMDB
ITIL v3 Foundation level or higher certification.
