Project Planning:
Develop comprehensive project schedules and timelines using project management software.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and contractors to understand project requirements and constraints.
Determine the critical path and key milestones for each project.
Resource Allocation:
Allocate labor, materials, and equipment resources efficiently to meet project goals.
Ensure the availability of necessary resources to support project timelines.
Identify resource constraints and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Regularly update project schedules and track progress against the plan.
Generate progress reports and dashboards for project stakeholders.
Identify deviations from the schedule and recommend corrective actions.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks that may affect project schedules and budgets.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Monitor and assess the impact of changes on the project schedule.
Communication and Coordination:
Maintain open and effective communication with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Attend project meetings to provide schedule updates and address concerns.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and implement corrective measures as needed.
Cost Control:
Collaborate with the finance department to track project expenditures and compare them to the budget.
Assist in cost forecasting and control to avoid budget overruns.
Continuous Improvement:
Evaluate project execution processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and productivity.
Stay updated on industry trends, software tools, and best practices in project planning and management.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
Proven 2 experience as a Planning Engineer in interior fit-out or construction projects in UAE
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of interior fit-out processes and materials is a plus
