Black & Grey HR is actively recruiting an Operations Manager for a leading construction company based in Dubai. The ideal candidate should bring substantial experience in GCC regions, demonstrating a strong track record of overseeing daily site operations for optimal productivity. In addition to managing cash flow and ensuring budget adherence, the Operations Manager will be instrumental in fostering business growth by building client relationships, exploring new projects, and establishing collaborations with MEP/Civil contractors.
Projects Daily Operation Control:
Conduct daily Next Day Plan Meetings with the site team, including engineers, safety personnel, and project coordinators.
Follow up with Project Managers to ensure timely updates on PFC engineers, safety, Formans, and client engineers regarding project progress.
Analyze and control daily productivity by reviewing and discussing daily issued target achievements in the Next Day Plan Meeting.
Monitor daily progress reports from engineers, providing feedback to Project Managers to ensure clarity on targets and manpower details.
Ensure timely closure of safety comments in daily safety reports by the relevant team.
Cash Flow Control:
Approve weekly material, machinery, and labor supply requirements with a two-week look ahead.
Review and approve the weekly invoice podcast for projected invoice value at the end of each month.
Conduct weekly projected cash flow meetings with the FM and Purchasing Officer to ensure alignment with the plan.
Review weekly manpower requirements with the HC department to guarantee sufficient resources for achieving targets.
Approve the update of weekly invoice statuses upon EGA team certification follow-up.
Ensure projects invoices are raised on the 25th of each month according to the projected plan.
Attend monthly cost control meetings with the Finance team to ensure projects do not exceed planned budgets.
Business Development Duties:
Develop business relationships with client members through a structured daily meeting schedule plan for each area in EGA.
Create a weekly progress plan to cover potential project areas and explore new works/sites requirements within EGA.
Foster relationships with potential MEP/Civil contractors and build a database of new suppliers and subcontractors related to EGA projects.
Requirements- Minimum 15-20 Years Of GCC Construction Industry Experience.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent communication abilities for effective team engagement and client interaction.
Proven track record in business development, including client and contractor relationship building.
Financial acumen with experience in cash flow management and budget control.
In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and ensuring compliance.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and productivity analysis.
Adaptability to dynamic project requirements and changing business environments.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (construction management, engineering, etc.).
Any relevant certifications in project management or construction practices are advantageous.
