Role Summary
This role is based in the Regional Team and drives improvement in the current NFV (non food vertical) in-app merchandising for all markets. You will be involved in creating and implementing processes for merchandising, auditing on a market level and improving conversion rates as their main KPI.
Whats On Your Plate?
Understand market dynamics along with competitor merchandising strategy to improve talabat’s in-app merchandising accordingly.
Implement merchandising best practices from good performing markets to other markets
Keep local teams updated on any front-end product improvements while gathering feedback to pitch to product.
Be the commercial POC for coordination and execution for all merchandising-related launches of tools, experiments, or product updates.
Responsible for moving the needle forward in terms of conversion rates, and deep dive into micro-conversion rates to identify experience blockers for the customers and improve accordingly.
Critically analyze the talabat NFV front-end from a customer’s perspective and suggest improvements accordingly.
Optimize conversion rates through visual / functional improvements.
Ensure the front-end of the app, in all markets, is updated and optimized as per what the customer requires.
Use past data, experiment knowledge, and own analysis to build perfect merchandising on a market and a key account level, implement it, and ensure regular audit.
Collaborating with local teams for merchandising initiatives, collaborative analysis, product feature updates and sharing requests with product teams.
Ensure all deals, discounts and promotions are adequately visible to the customer, and build processes around their visibility.
Coordinating with the affordability stakeholders to ensure the correct front-end visibility is given to all discounts with the aim of improving customer conversion rates accordingly.
Building a structure around audit merchandising for all markets on a regular basis.
Directly impact the business by driving revenue growth through improving conversion rates leading to improved GMV for the vertical.
Identifying opportunities for improvement and optimizing processes, the role will help increase efficiency.
What Did We Order?
Experience in operations, merchandising and process improvement. UI/UX experience is a plus.
Familiarity with data analytics and reporting, and have prior experience working with spreadsheets.
Good business acumen and ability to prioritize whilst collaborating with multiple stakeholders
A degree in marketing/business with experience in merchandising is a plus.
Excellent project management ability and analytical skills are required.
The role will require strong attention to detail.
Number-crunching would be required to analyze and compare different strategies.
