Summary:

A Mechatronics Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of advanced mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles. The engineer will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions.

Scope of Work:

Design and develop mechatronic systems by analyzing user requirements and selecting appropriate technologies and components
Create mechanical and electrical design schematics, 3D CAD models, and engineering drawings to support the development of mechatronic systems
Develop electronic circuits, PCB layouts, and embedded systems for mechatronic applications, ensuring the optimal integration of mechanical and electronic components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic components and subsystems
Perform system simulations and analyses to verify the performance, reliability, and safety of mechatronic systems
Develop and execute testing plans, including the creation of test equipment and procedures, to validate mechatronic systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Provide technical support for mechatronic systems during the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechatronic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software problems
Create and maintain technical documentation, such as specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides, for mechatronic systems
Continuously research and stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and industry trends to ensure the development of cutting-edge mechatronic systems

What we need from you:

Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline; a master’s degree is preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and development of mechatronic systems with a focus on both mechanical and electronic components.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles, including control systems, sensors, actuators, and robotics
Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, simulation tools like Simulink, and electronic design tools like Altium Designer or Eagle
Experience with programming languages, such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, for developing control algorithms
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechatronic systems, such as ISO, ASME, or IEEE
