Material Engineer Full Time

About the job
Clear understanding about Concrete, Concrete products & concrete ingredients.
Conversant with the requirements of BS, BS-EN & ASTM standards related to concrete products & raw materials.
Familiar with Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Calibration Plan for Monitoring & Measuring Devices. Ability to ensure testing & calibration as scheduled.
Ability to co-ordinate with in-house & external laboratories to arrange testing of products and raw materials and verify the reported results against the requirement / specification.
Ability to follow up with agencies (like testing lab, calibration agency, material supplier) to gather required documents (MTC, Test report, Data Sheet, MSDS etc.)
Ability to identify relevant portions of project specification related to concrete products and concrete ingredients to prepare Compliance Statement / Comparison Statement / Technical Submission for concrete products & raw ingredients.
Requirements
Min 3-4years work experience in manufacturing of Concrete Products (Paver/Tile/kerb) / Precast / Ready Mixed Concrete.
Graduate in Civil Engineering
Familiar with requirements of Dubai / Abu Dhabi Municipality related to concrete pavers/ tiles /kerb etc.
Advanced MS office/MS Excel documentation skills
Familiar with documentation requirements of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001.
