Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS) division provides high quality, cutting-edge solutions for cardiac and vascular surgery, and interventional procedures performed inside blood vessels. We pursue therapies that minimize physical burden on patients. We offer diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for coronary and peripheral diseases, and oncological indications.
Job Summary The Terumo Middle East (TME) Marketing Manager plans, directs and controls all marketing activities for a respective product portfolio, including the setting of marketing strategy and objectives, collaboration market research, sales promotion, advertising, medical affairs, market access, development of the marketing expenses and drive profitability for a range of products. He/she establishes marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products/services.
In this case, the product scope is for the entire TIS portfolio.
You will live in and work from Dubai.
Job Responsibilities
Developing strategic marketing plans
Plays a key role in developing company marketing strategy and for the Terumo Middle-East organisation and the entire TIS portfolio, linking to the EMEA TIS portfolio and strategy
Gathers, analyses and reports relevant market, customer and product data related of the Terumo position in the TME scope of Access & Closure, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Interventions and Interventional Oncology related products
Managing Promotional activities and Product Portfolio
Develops in collaboration with Marketing Communications, Social Media and Digital teams all the necessary promotional tools/activities in order to support the sales activities of the TME team. Contributes to the Terumo digital transformation.
Contributes to all the necessary activities including the organisation of congress, symposia and other similar meetings managed by the Marketing & Communication Coordinator for TME, partnering with Events, Medical Affairs and local teams to develop content and achieve learning objectives
Plans and executes Terumo Learning Edge workshops working with KOLs, vendors and training team
Implementing Marketing plans
Ensures that the Marketing strategy is cascaded down to the local organisation and network of distributors through regular communication, review of sales results and field visits in country
Tracks sales performance on a monthly basis, understanding the gaps/pressure points in countries. Support countries with strategies to overcome barriers
Align and support training activities
Aligns product focus with training team to ensure sales force trainings are contributing to portfolio strategy objectives
Supports training with strategy, product and market knowledge to inspire the trainees (internal stakeholders as well as Distributors field forces) and to improve their necessary skills to maximize sales
Contribute to the creation and Marketing of New products
Investigates which additional products or technologies are necessary in order to expand the business. Contributes with new ideas for the creation of new products, concepts
Manages the (pre-) marketing activities of new Terumo products locally in order to successfully introduce these (new) products and, after introduction, to pass on a “finished” product to the TME territories
Profile description:
You live in and work from Dubai.
University degree or comparable education in marketing, or proven relevant experience
Practical experience in all marketing strategy, concepts and techniques including product launches at TME level
Knowledge of and relationship established with regional KOLs (f.i. GulfPCR course directors)
Deep knowledge of the European Medical Devices, Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical industry market
Former Sales experience preferred
Good digital multichannel experience
Good project management skills and a track record in delivering projects within budget and timeline
Proven problem-solving skills
