Mission: Reporting to the Marketing Manager of the Region, the mission is to contribute towards growing the business and profitability by leveraging local consumer & market insights. Implementing the global marketing strategy within the IMEA region but also adapting it to local needs based on a deep analysis of the market.
Keep up with global & local trends and develop appropriate proactive projects & concepts relevant for the region (adapting global marketing trends to meet local needs)
Share data about local consumer & market insights with the Global Branding team at HQ to keep on developing bespoke marketing tools for the region (global marketing calendar customization)
Make sure the new company image guidelines are used in all marketing presentations & communications intended for the clients and other partners of the company.
Drive the proactive category tools with internal partners and contribute actively in client briefs to define the strategy to win the brief in collaboration with Account Managers & FDMs.
Encourage teamwork and build communication processes between marketing, sales and development teams to assess business development opportunities and to finally develop on-target winner fragrance offerings and presentations.
Communicate new launches developed within the company with the sales team & customers.
Keep up with customer profiles; mappings & new launches
Conduct smelling sessions for key local brands
Organize regular market visits with the sales & fragrance evaluation teams, keep posted with local brand communication strategies.
Lead communication, fragrance selection, text & concept at corporate exhibitions across the region.
Identify and implement digital tools or solutions to be used internally and externally (olfactive pyramid & trends microsite, task management tools, interactive documents etc ).
Participation in organizing marketing events such as tradeshows, campaigns etc.
Foster innovative thinking to develop relevant concepts/insights that are in line with the category drivers and client strategies in order to create unique fragrance solutions.
Keep track of promotional material stock within the company. Source & Coordinate with appropriate local suppliers
Educational Background (minimum required as a must have and also indicate which studies will be considered a plus):
Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of Business Management, Marketing & Advertising or equivalent.
English – Native/Fluent
Arabic & Hindi – Added Merit but not essential
Experience required (and minimum years of experience):
Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing and/or sales, preferably within fragrance industry or similar (FMCG-Client)
