Market Access Manager

Responsible for developing and leading market access strategy for AstraZeneca Pakistan. The incumbent will be responsible to oversee Key Account Management, Tenders, and Institutions. Additionally, lead the development, implementation, and governance of patient support program.
Based in Karachi, Pakistan
What Youll Do
Develop and execute comprehensive market access strategy that ensure our products are accessible to patients, payers and health care providers in alignment with the brand strategies and overall business strategy for Pakistan
Identify, build, map, and maintain strong business relationships with key decision makers, relevant stakeholders, and influencers.
Patient Support Program:
Lead the design, implementation and management of patient support programs to assist in accessing and adhering to treatment in line with business strategy for Pakistan
Ensure that patient support programs adhere to all relevant regulations, industry standards and internal governance polices Implement strong governance and measures accordingly
Institutions, Tenders & Key Account Management:
Stakeholder identification, mapping & management for major accounts and institutions
Oversee tender management, forumulary enlisting and instituional pricing. Ensure that all aspects of tender management and formulary listing align with AstraZenecas internal processes and guidelines
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders & influencers in Key Accounts
Work closely with the pricing and cross-functional teams to develop and refine pricing strategies that optimize market access while optimizing AstraZenecas product positioning and long term sustainability
Build relationships with key internal / external clients.
Develop and implement plans for stakeholders development & engagement in alignment with country head & MA head.
Collaborating And Influencing Others
Work collaboratively across functional areas, serving as a resource within the region and by leveraging the expertise of others.
Act as a liaison between the access and other cross-functional areas, persuading, convincing or motivating a targeted audience through collaboration and direct or indirect influence.
Maintain highest ethical standards and work in a spirit of AstraZeneca Code of Ethics, following rules & norms set by corporate policies
Ensure that all conducted activities are done in accordance with local legislation and corporate standards.
Timely report (as per respective procedures): health/environment/wellbeing related accidents; adverse events that you became aware about; change in status of your Conflict of Interest.

Essential For The Role
Bachelors degree or equivalent required (business administration or a similar field preferred). MBA preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Market Access & Pricing
Strong performance track record
Demonstrated strong oral, written and group communication skills.
Interpersonal skills Influencing, negotiation, collaboration and team work
Effective analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making
Planning and organization skills
Desirable for the role
Strong commercial background
Previous experience in different functional areas of the business
