Job Duties

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, this role requires the successful candidate to:
Produce and implement a logistics strategy and framework of operations
Maintain a bonded and quarantine stores as well dedicated specialised storage areas
Ensure all material and equipment is received in the correct manner in accordance with the relevant procedures laid out
Manage day to day operations of the logistics, procurement and kitting onsite teams
Provide logistics and Key Performance data to the Programme Team
Attending progress/customer meetings and ensure the Logistics Plan remains achievable
Control, equipment, materials and GSE movements on site
Ensure correct storage, tagging and calibration of tooling and equipment
Control issuing and storage of Tools & equipment
Maintain minimum stock levels in accordance with customer and supplier delivery times
Conduct regular audits of stock items and associated issuing processes
Ensure compliance with all associated Health & Safety procedures (Safe working) (Materials Storage)
Tool control and distribution
Provide and support ongoing training requirements for logistics team members
Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
Manage and resolve any complaints, problems or issues with customers and suppliers
Skills & Attributes:
Proven track record in Part 145 Logistics Management of a dynamic organisation
Experience working with Civil Aviation Authorities and other Regulatory Agencies
Experience in producing and implementing policy/procedures
Knowledge of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority regulation
Commercially and logistically minded
Possess high organisational and communication skills in order to effectively lead and support
Knowledgeable and proficient in Logistics Software (Ideally Centrik, PRO MRO, Ultramain)
Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Visio/PowerPoint)
