Joinery & Interior Fit-Out Project Manager Full Time

Our client is a well-established high-end interior fit out and joinery contractor.

We are recruiting a Tagalog speaking UAE experienced project manager from the interior fit out and joinery industry to join their Dubai operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the manufacturing of interior fit out fittings for high-end residential and commercial new build and renovation projects.

Role Summary
Accountable for managing high-end residential and commercial interior fit out projects from design through to handover to ensure the timely completion of projects within budget.
Project manage the entire lifecycle from design, materials, equipment and resource planning, construction, snagging and handover.
Develop detailed project execution plans based on the client brief, budget and agreed timescales.
Collaborate with procurement, QA/QS, designers to prepare project and resource plans, budgets and costings, procurement lists and BOQs.
Liaise with clients for project progress reviews, variations, slippages, payments and resolution of issues.
Manage the approvals process for DEWA and Dubai Municipality.
Plan subcontractor resources and ensure optimal subcontractor productivity.
Check sub-contractor invoices and prepare final settlement bills payments for suppliers and sub-contractors.
Prepare and submit final project reports.
Ensure all onsite health and safety measures are adhered to.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
7 – 10 years’ project management experience in interior fit out joinery and civil works ensuring quality, cost control, safety, manpower utilization and handover in the agreed budget and timescales.
Resource planning, cost management, manpower mobilization, reading drawings and specifications.
Ability to foresee issues and delays and mitigate risks.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Primavera is mandatory.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Candidate Profile
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to live and work in Dubai.
Fluent in English and Tagalog.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with residential and commercial clients, contractors and suppliers.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture
