Head of Back Office Operations – Currency Trading Full Time

Our client is a fast growing global financial trading organization. As part of their expansion, we are recruiting a UAE experienced senior level to lead the customer onboarding and payment transaction processing functions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in building robust and risk-free back office systems, processes, policies and controls for FinTech, FOREX, financial trading and money remittance.

Candidate must have led business and digital automation transformation and process reengineering to improve functionality to enhance the customer journey and experience within heavily regulated financial services in the UAE.

Role Summary
Build a competent team to manage all back-office operations related to KYC, AML, CFT; client profile, user access and real time financial account management; reporting and regulation compliance tools; trading platform integration.
Collaborate with product and technology teams to enhance customer and merchant onboarding workflows and systems.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
10 –years’ management experience in financial services payment processing within digital banking, FOREX trading, payment gateway, CFDs, FinTech, remittance payments, financial services, digital wallets, digital loyalty programs or retail banking sectors.
Strong experience in merchant acquisition processes, treasury and payment reconciliation.
Strong audit experience to ensure regulatory compliance and reporting, trading platform and payment processing integration.
Ability to translate the overall company strategy and apply it to the direction of your team.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and set budgets.
Proven experience of recruiting and building a high-performance team in the financial services sector.
Proven capabilities in people management and developing teams to engage a team of 25+ people to create an environment of continuous learning and improvement and enhance engagement to ensure KPIs are consistently met.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Education
Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
Fluent in English.
Strong experience in collaboration, building long term relationships and influencing stakeholders.
