As Front Office Receptionist, We Rely On You To

• Be well versed with the daily arrival and the type of arrival guests, e.g., return guest, Shangri-La Circle, VIP
• Register all guests with required details and ensure all amenities are in room prior to guest arrival
• Always take the opportunity to exceed guest expectations
• Coordinate with the Bell desk and Concierge to assists guest with luggage upon check-in and checkout
• Check-in/check-out guests as per Shangri-La standards and procedures
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials
• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the reception
• Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
• Answer, and forward incoming phone calls as required
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Has proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role in a luxury hotel or a 5* hotel environment
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fully understands room operations
• Communicates with fluency in English (and local language)
• Must be detail-focused and guest-oriented
• Enjoys problem solving with a can-do attitude
• Has strong interpersonal skills, solid written and verbal communication skills
• Takes pride in being a hotelier and enjoys interacting with people
