What’s the Role?
We’re looking for someone who wants to kickstart their career with an exciting Finance Internship supporting our Procurement & Controlling teams. Working as part of our Regional Finance team, this placement is guaranteed for 6 months.

What does the role involve?
Your key responsibility as a Finance Intern is to support the Purchase to Pay for Hilti Middle East while serving as back-up support for the Regional Category Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining up to date master data for vendors including the monthly reconciliation of vendor accounts with the vendor statements. You will also ensure the payment run is done as per the agreed date and that all the vendors have been credited. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic and operational procurement projects that is focused on process improvement topics.
Furthermore, you will participate in the monthly OPEX steering by providing details and explanation on bookings and will participate in periodic forecasting process by preparing OPEX projections based on the run-rate and other relevant parameters.

What you need is:
A Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
A valid Emirates residency, under family or school sponsorship
Solid experience in Microsoft Excel, Sharepoint & PowerPoint will be an advantage.
Experience using accounting packages or ERP systems is advantageous.
Effective communication skills, with a strong proficiency in English – written and verbal
Attention to detail, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Good organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
