Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a newly established digital out-of-home operator company in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Event Sales Manager who will be responsible for prospecting, client management, group and event bookings.
Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
Be in charge of hiring personnel (DJs, waiters etc.)
Coordinate all operations
Lead promotional activities for both new and existing local corporate accounts
Be passionate and knowledgeable about the area
Use your flair and individuality to drive sales and create connections with the local neighbourhood
Meet your sales targets while driving standards and productivity
Ensure all KPIs are exceeded on a daily and monthly basis
Maximise lead generation (new and existing business) across all channels in the region
Proactively seek out new business both locally and regionally
Requirements
Proven experience as event sales manager
Skilled in project management
Demonstrable track record in exceeding targets on your personal quota
Ability to build effective relationship quickly and are able to demonstrate authority
Great communicator with clients and colleagues
Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
Excellent organizational skills
A knack for problem-solving
Customer-service orientation
A team player with leadership skills
BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
