JOB PURPOSE

Assist/ contribute for all aspects of the development and administration of the civil works associated with the rail

civil works, buildings, depots, facilities, foundation, and precast yards’ management. Provide full supports to the

project management team in carrying out their duties.

KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES

# Assist in the preparation of project plans and specifications when appropriate.

# Fulfil all reporting requirements, and maintain records concerning inspection service-related data.

# Coordinate civil work activities with developers and other projects affected by the planned works.

# Monitor continuously the risk register and ensure contractor/consultants are implementing all mitigation

measures and report on any deviation.

# Performs other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate

# Assist in the preparation defense of claims and other related commercial and contractual issues.

# provide assistance in tender submissions and tender assessment and submit reports to detail the assessment

findings and rating

# Assist in the preparation and review of Project Cost Reports and other financial reports.

# Support the civil & structures team in coordination with the consultant, Contractor, and contracts in

conjunction with the construction PM team.

# Provide support to ensure that civil works and installations are designed in accordance with recognized

international standards and regulations.

# Coordinate with the concerned departments regarding the unlicensed transport phenomenon at ports

# Coordination with the architects to ensure that civil works and installations are in keeps with drawing, plans,

and specifications.

# Monitor and report on progress and milestone achievements through attendance at meetings, field visits ,

receiving and reviewing reports.

Qualifications

# Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
