Job Description

The role will be responsible for:

Implementing COSO Internal Controls Framework
Conducting scoping
Conducting Test of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness
Identifying design gaps and control failures
Recommending remediation plans to clients
Updating the RCM and flow chart
Working with external auditors for ICOFR
Providing awareness session on ICOFR / COSO

Education, Experience And Skills Required

Must be educated up to a minimum of bachelor’s level, ideally in finance or engineering. A chartered qualification such as CA/ACCA/CIA will be highly beneficial
Must have relevant experience in consulting and/or industry in have conducted at least 2 ICOFR / SOX / COSO internal controls implementations
Demonstrable experience in development of Risk Control Matrices and Flow charts (using visio)
Strong communication skills
Capable of direct interaction with client and mid-level management
Proficient excel, power point and Visio skills
Willingness to work hard and go the extra mile when required
Oil & Gas experience in Internal Control is good to have but not mandatory
It is essential for you to be already in the UAE on a residence visa, such as spouse or parent sponsored visas
