About the job
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Analyst with an Electrical Engineering background to join our team in the lighting industry. As a Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and providing insights and recommendations to support the growth of our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
Develop and maintain financial models to assess business opportunities and evaluate the potential return on investment.
Analyze pricing strategies and recommend pricing adjustments to optimize revenue and profitability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies.
Create and deliver reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.
Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize operations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the business remains competitive in the marketplace.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a commercial analysis role, preferably in the lighting industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience in financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
