One of our clients, a leading technology startup in the GCC, is currently looking for a CTO to join their team. The role is based at their offices in Dubai.
We are looking for a dynamic leader in the role of CTO with strong experience in tech start-ups. You will provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders, and customers to ensure our companys technologies are used appropriately.
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, wed like to meet you.
Manage the technology team and oversee the building of the platform to ensure it is done correctly, efficiently, within budget, and on time
Develop technical aspects of the companys strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
Develop and manage the product architecture and roadmap required for the build
Lead software development team to develop, document and maintain cutting-edge web and mobile based application
Align with the Product Department and the Project Management teams to ensure development plans are in line with the product requirements as well as the project road map
Create and implement processes which ensure all resources are used effectively and efficiently. This includes performing regular code review as well as the approval process of payments for third parties
Build quality assurance and data protection processes
Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
Use stakeholders feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors
University Degree and relevant certifications in the required technologies or Information Technology or equivalent.
Exceptional experience in Stack Technology of NodeJS for backend, React Native for mobile app, ReactJS, and GraphQL.
Strategic mindset with ability to create strategic plans and align different teams to the organisation’s vision and plans.
Effective performance management of remote teams.
Able to successfully manage stakeholders with an ability to take effective decisions.
Effective communicator especially with remote workforce.
Peoples person who can resolve conflicts and maintain positive work environment among his teams.
