We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
Scan and process items accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter.
Accept cash, credit card, and other forms of payment from customers.
Calculate and provide accurate change to customers.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Promote store loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
Follow cash handling procedures and maintain cash register balances.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding customer service and safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Basic computer proficiency.
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
