CAD and 3D Designer (office-based) Full Time

About the job
Develop AutoCAD layouts, elevations and floor plans
Implement 3D AutoCAD layouts to assess viability of room dimensions, scenic and screen dimensions, sight lines, audience seating
Ability to create 2D floor plans and 3D wireframe layouts of general sessions and meeting rooms
Establish, implement and enforce CAD standards, and file organization
Assists with hands-on troubleshooting efforts from production and processes
Takes project from concept to production release
Performs maintenance of CAD files in response to engineering changes
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Basic knowledge of fabrication, audio, lighting, video and rigging systems and design
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD
Must be detail oriented and organized
Events-related experience is a plus
Demonstrated proficiency in relevant technology
