Starburst is seeking a Business Value Consultant to support the North American Enterprise Sales team in building creative, innovative business value and benefit realisation analysis. The role is a significant part of the Global Business Value Practice (Value Engineering team) and will work with the Value Practice Lead.
Responsibilities
Work with sales management and account managers to review the overall customer engagement strategy to determine where the business value consulting approach can drive revenue and growth possibilities
Collaborate with account managers, enterprise consultants, and solution consultants to pursue and develop opportunities in assigned geographic or vertical market segments
Drive new revenue from assigned geography or vertical market, lead key customer engagement activities, such as value proposition, executive first, solution design workshops, and value-based business cases
Document, model, and present a gap-analysis of the clients current versus desired state; identifying specific opportunities for improvement that demonstrate Starbursts solution capabilities
Using in-depth business, technical, and financial analysis to understand the baseline, and potential capability for the client
Articulate how the solution’s capabilities align with the client’s strategic business, and technical objectives and initiatives
Proactively use our Value Engineering Service Catalogue to provide significant contributions to Starburst’s high calibre, high expectation, and dynamic sales organisation
Being involved with our philosophy of continuous improvement, specifically to help lead and build the Value Selling and Realisation processes, templates, and tools within Starburst?
Skills And?Qualifications
As a Business Value Consultant, you will develop and execute strategies that build pipeline opportunities, drive growth, and efficiencies building business cases which are tied to strategic corporate outcomes.
You will work with the sales management teams to develop account strategies and assist in determining multi-year plans to expand Starbursts footprint within enterprise customers.
Strategic priorities and execution will be governed by the customers business imperatives and mapped to Starbursts capabilities across the portfolio to meet and exceed the customers desired outcomes.
You will also partner with our sales leaders to drive the operational cadence, consult on critical accounts and opportunities, and assist in the preparation of content to include sales campaigns, deal framing, pricing structure, and negotiation strategies.
